1. Who we are

Eco Garden Clean (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides garden cleaning, lawn mowing, hedge trimming, pruning and garden maintenance services. We operate the website ecogardenclean.com and are responsible for the personal information collected through it and through our services.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to respond to you and deliver our services:

Contact details — your name, phone number and email address when you call, email or use our service request form.
Property and service details — the service address, garden size, access notes, preferred visit dates and any information you choose to share about your garden.
Photos — images of your garden that you send us for quoting, and before-and-after photos we take during work to document the job.
Payment records — invoice amounts, payment dates and the payment method used. We do not store full card or bank account numbers.
Website usage data — basic technical data such as browser type, device, pages visited and approximate time of visit, collected through cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

respond to enquiries and arrange free garden assessments;
prepare quotes, schedule visits and deliver the services you request;
send visit reminders, service reports and invoices;
handle payments, refunds and complaints;
improve our website, services and customer experience;
meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We will never sell your personal information or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your information because it is necessary to provide services you have requested (contract), because you have given consent (for example, by ticking the consent box on our form), because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business, or because the law requires us to keep certain records.

5. Sharing your information

We share personal information only where necessary:

with our own crew members and supervisors who carry out your service;
with trusted service providers such as website hosting, email and accounting tools, who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations;
with specialist contractors (for example, a qualified arborist) only when you have agreed to their involvement;
with authorities where we are legally required to do so.

6. Photos of your garden

Photos are used to quote, plan and document our work. We will not publish photos that show your property, house number or any person on our website or social media without your explicit permission.

7. How long we keep information

Enquiry details that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Customer records, quotes and invoices are kept for as long as needed for the service relationship and to meet accounting and legal requirements, after which they are securely deleted.

8. How we protect your information

We use secure, password-protected systems, limit access to staff who need it, keep our website software up to date and use encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to:

provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
delete your information where we no longer need it;
stop or restrict certain uses of your information;
withdraw consent you have previously given.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.
